As our portfolio grows, we are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Contract Administrator to join our team and ensure the effective execution of contract administration across construction projects.

Position Summary

The Contract Administrator plays a key role in overseeing construction contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle. This position ensures strict adherence to contract terms, facilitates effective communication among stakeholders, and manages all related documentation. The role is essential to maintaining transparency, consistency, and accountability across our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor construction contracts to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables
  • Serve as a liaison between project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to support clear and timely communication
  • Prepare, review, and process contract documents, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress claims
  • Track and manage contract milestones, deadlines, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain organized and accurate contract records and documentation
  • Assist with resolving contract-related issues, disputes, or claims in coordination with project teams
  • Ensure all contractual procedures align with corporate policies and relevant industry standards
  • Support procurement and bidding processes, including evaluating proposals and assisting in contract award recommendations
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on contract status and issues
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contract administration within the construction or infrastructure sector. 
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g. CCDC, OPSS, OBC, etc.) and construction law.
  • Familiarity with project management software and applications.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • P.Eng. CET, CCCA, or PMP certification or enrollment is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites (if required)
