Infrastructure United is a growing consulting and project management firm specializing in infrastructure solutions across the transportation, utilities, and building sectors. We’re passionate about delivering impactful, efficient, and sustainable projects for public and private clients. We’re currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team and support the successful delivery of our ongoing initiatives.
Position Summary
As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist project managers and executives in coordinating, tracking, and supporting the execution of infrastructure and engineering projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational experience in project delivery and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting under the guidance of senior staff.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors to gather updates and provide support.
- Help coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and action items.
- Assist with monitoring project progress and flagging potential risks or delays.
- Help ensure that projects comply with internal processes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Participate in meetings, site visits, and quality assurance activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Environmental), Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a fast-paced team.
- Familiarity with project management software and applications.
- Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites (if required)
- Valid driver’s license is an asset for site visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification or enrollment
- Eng., EIT, CET
Pay Range:
- Junior Project Manager: $70,000 – 110,000 CAD annually
