Highway 11/17 Rehabilitation & Bridge Structures

Project Overview

Rehabilitation of Highway 11/17 for a 3.2 km section, including multiple bridges and roadway enhancements.

Key Components

  • Grading, Drainage & Hot Mix Paving – Mill and overlay with targeted full-depth reconstruction in critical areas.
  • Structure Rehabilitation – Repairs to Highway 11/17 Interchange Bridge (Site 43X-0350/B0) and Lavase River/CPR Overhead Bridges.
  • Electrical Upgrades – Replacement of existing HPS roadway luminaires with LED fixtures and upgrades to high mast pole lighting.
  • Roadside Safety Improvements – New steel beam guiderails, signage replacements, and minor curb and gutter repairs.
  • Stormwater Management & Drainage – Sewer pipe replacements, culvert repairs, and localized ditch cleanouts to improve drainage.
  • Traffic Management & Staging – Nighttime lane closures and a full road closure of the E-S Ramp to minimize daytime traffic disruptions.
