Highway 407 East Extension Phase 2

Project Overview

Estimated Construction Value: CAD - $450M

Phase 2 of the Highway 407 East Extension extends the highway approximately 22 kilometres from Harmony Road in Oshawa to Highway 35/115 in Clarington. The project also includes the construction of Highway 418, a 10-kilometre north-south connector between Highways 401 and 407.

This extension aims to improve regional connectivity, reduce congestion on local roads, and support economic growth in the eastern GTA. The project was completed with attention to environmental considerations and community impact.

This was not undertaken by Infrastructure United. However, several of our team members contributed to this project prior to joining our organization. Their experience and expertise gained from such projects enhance the capabilities we offer to our clients today.
